‘So happy to be able to pass them on down to the family.’
I so enjoyed working with Lesley to put together all the memories of my father’s life Relics of the Past. The final books are fabulous – good quality, well ordered and interesting.
So happy to be able to pass them on down to the family. RH

…extremely patient, understanding and showed true compassion throughout.’

As a family we would like to thank Lesley for compiling a wonderful book in memory of our mum, Lorraine. She has been extremely patient, understanding and showed true compassion throughout It hasn’t been easy for us as a family and, at times, even to read draft copies of the book was overwhelming. However, we are so pleased with the outcome. It is a lovely way for us to remember our mum and to share fond memories.

Thank you for everything Lesley, love from the Walker family.

‘With kindness, consideration and expertise…’

I had been working on my book for years and, through a friend’s recommendation of Lesley’s work, I began to think about getting it into print. I was so glad I did. With kindness, consideration and expertise, she polished up what I had written and guided me forward to achieving my goal. I have already started a follow up and will have no hesitation whatsoever in letting Lesley deal with that also. PM

‘in its beautifully presented cover, will be a lasting record…’

It was my wish to produce an account of my time working as a Customs Officer. My book achieves that and, in its beautifully presented cover, will be a lasting record for my family. My thanks to Your Memory Book and Tor Publications for making it happen in timely manner. JM

The compassion and understanding she showed…’

I arranged with Lesley, founder of Your Memory Book to write the story of my mother’s long and extraordinary life. The compassion and understanding she showed when speaking with my mother, who is in her eighties, was really quite remarkable and the attention to detail went way beyond my expectations. She drew out memories that had lain dormant for years with enormous care and the finished book is a brilliant read and an astonishing record of ‘A Life Well Lived’ I am beginning my own story with Lesley shortly and really look forward to the experience. “Lesley ‘got’ my sense of humour immediately…”

‘Lesley ‘got’ my sense of humour immediately, and she cleverly brought that out in the pages of my book. I was delighted with the quality of the books and will be asking for re-prints. I might even be offering the chapters as a magazine series – they were that good!’ RP

“I like the quality of the paper and cover…”

‘I am in my 90’s and have known good times and bad. I am happy to have all of them written down in my own book. I like the quality of the paper and cover and I am proud to be leaving the story of my life for my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!’ PJ

“Anecdotal and Hilarious”

The anecdotal and hilarious times on the other side of The Old Brick Kilns Caravan Park

This guide takes you on a journey of exploration of the town today and yesterday.

Established shortly after the year 1100, today’s town centre of West Malling retains the medieval plan and many fine ancient historic buildings hidden behind 17th and 18th century facades. In 1800 there were 19 alehouses, 2 slaughterhouses, a magistrate’s court and fashionable assembly rooms. Two centuries later; the town remains popular for its good selection of pubs, restaurants, specialist shops, regular farmers’ markets and ‘village community’ atmosphere. TMS
