Hello, I am Lesley, I come from a legal background where clarity of meaning and expression in documents was vital.
Following on from this, I ran the Constituency Office of the Rt Hon. Ann Widdecombe for seven years. As one might imagine, I was set high standards of English proficiency in all press announcements, correspondence and reports.
During the twelve years I then spent in Burgundy, France teaching English to both adults and children, my writing skills became anecdotal and humorous and that is now reflected in the Life Story Books it has been my absolute pleasure to have been involved with in the last few years.
My skill is to ensure that the character, intonation and the ‘voice’ of the person can be seen and heard on every page of their special book.
